VERTIGO

MAITREPIERRE SS25

FILM

A woman faces her own image.

At first a reflection, it gradually becomes another presence: larger, distorted, fragmented and impossible to control. She walks beneath her own gaze, observed by a monumental version of herself that seems alternately seductive, threatening and amused.

In Vertigo, self-image becomes a shifting architecture — a digital mirror where identity is duplicated until it begins to dissolve.

PROCESS

Created for Maitrepierre’s Let’s Play SS25 collection, Vertigo combines live camera feeds, monumental LED projections and real-time image distortion to create an immersive dialogue between the physical performer and her projected double.

The virtual production stage was used not to erase the boundary between reality and simulation, but to expose it. The LED pixels, cameras, reflections and technical apparatus remain visible, transforming technological imperfections into part of the film's visual language.
